Some people also prefer to put wood strips under the panel for better security of the metal panels. If you absolutely require it, always use insulated wood. Now after that, install drip edge. Screw the drip edge along every eve to provide robust installation. Also cover the gutter sides with it, if there are gutters. Make sure that there in=s no space for pests and other animals to hide under the roof panels by applying closure strips.

Before installing your first panel, ensure that everything else is screwed down in a proper manner. The panels must be fastened in such a manner to the roof that they look attractive which someone views it from the ground. Usually 1 and a half inch screws are used for installing panels but the size may vary as per the requirements. Screws are usually spaced 2 to 2 and half feet so that ribs are skipped. The panels must be installed along the edges of the roof carefully. After covering the whole roof by applying evenly spaced panels, in order to give the roofs edged a smooth appearance, install gable trim. It will also give the roof protection from rain, blowing wind, and snow. Then apply ridge cap at the ends.  If needed one can also address the vent pipe and install pipe flashing. If the roof is installed properly it becomes highly durable and even lasts lifetime.

Looking at the young, bubbly children we often want to return to our childhood days. Those were really the best days of our lives. We live a life filled with fun and enjoyment. But that is the only time when a child learns the basic things about life.

            As a child we possess some qualities which we lose with time. Like when we are young we are very curious about things. Children often open up their toys to see what is inside. They keep on asking questions about every small thing. Curiosity is one quality that we should never lose.

Children are too innocent to know what discrimination is. They play with kids of all race, cast, creed and colour. But when we grow up, we become partial. This is the thing we should learn from children to treat every human as equal. Broad mindedness is what can make it happen.

            I still remember when I was a kid, me and my best friend use to often fight, and within an hour start playing together again. This forgiveness and ability to forget easily is hard to find in adults. If we don’t keep grudges for long the world will become a beautiful place to live.

            Children are said to be God’s creations. They always speak truth. This may not be practical at all time when we grow old, but we should try to be truthful as much as possible. These qualities will not only make us a better person, but also improve our social relationships.

About The Book

            It is a story of survival of a South India boy on the Pacific after 227 days of struggle. His name is ‘Pi’, which is a short form of Piscine Molitor Patel. He is born in Pondicherry and is son of a zoo owner. Pi is basically a Hindu, but his love towards God made him adhere to Christianity and Islam also. When he was just sixteen, his father had to make a tough decision about moving to Canada along with all the zoo inhabitants.

            On the way to Canada on Tsimtsum (the ship), they encountered a ferocious storm which caused the ship to sink. Fortunately, or you can say unfortunately, only Pi managed to survive on a lifeboat. But along with him, there was a Hyena, an Orang-utan and a Zebra. Very soon Hyena made other two his food. Already frightened Pi soon discovers that there is a Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker also hidden in the boat who made Hyena his bite.

            The Life of Pi is in danger now. But he somehow managed to tame the tiger and keep a safe distance from him. After a challenging struggle of 227 days they reached on a beach in Mexico. But to his distress Richard disappeared in the jungle. Pi was found by officials whom he told his unbelievable story.

            This book, Life of Pi is a true fiction with spice of practicality, spirituality and inspiration. In the boob, Pi is the narrator telling his story from his childhood in India through to his journey to Canada. The book was published by RHC in 2001.
